The Boy Who Felt God: A Childhood Bliss and the Long Search That Followed (Ep. 9) Pan de Dios

Robert March and I worked at the same restaurant in Santa Fe, New Mexico, at the same time — he was a cook, I was a waitress. We'd chat from time to time and discovered we shared some esoteric interests. One day he called me out of the blue and said he'd dreamed about me and felt he should get to know me better. Would I like to go on a picnic?

We had a grand picnic, became dear friends, bonded by a shared love of dance, healthy food, and the blend of the sensual and the spiritual — the heart opening in the fire of service, the devotion of spirit moving through the breath of God.

We also believed in the power of dreams.

In this episode of Pan de Dios Moments, Robert shares his story — of a 7-year-old boy who felt God in a church, of spiritual teachers in India, of a lifetime of seeking and finding the divine.

He talks about the connection he felt with his mother while singing in church, the bliss that flooded his being, and the long journey that followed — through sports, through spiritual masters, through the Sufis, and finally to a deep healing that transformed his life.

Robert also shares a powerful teaching about self-love, about the divinity within each of us, and about a mantra that has anchored him for over 23 years.

This is a conversation about the divine in everyday life. About the thread that connects us all. About the bread of God — the Pan de Dios — that is always rising.

Come sit with us.
